Rise Together

NIGHTREIGN is built around teamwork. Choose your Nightfarer and join forces with up to two other players.

Each hero has unique abilities and a distinct playstyle. Combining different Nightfarers can create powerful team synergies, allowing players to support one another and overcome difficult encounters.

Survive Three Days in Limveld

Every expedition takes place over three in-game days.

You begin at Level 1 and must quickly explore Limveld, defeat enemies, collect Runes, find weapons and discover Sites of Grace to level up.

The available area gradually becomes more dangerous as the night closes in, forcing your team to make fast decisions about where to explore and which enemies to challenge.

The Night's Tide

The Night's Tide steadily contracts the area you can explore.

As the playable area becomes smaller, encounters become more intense and your team must prepare for the powerful boss waiting at the end of each night.

Use your limited time wisely to gain levels, discover equipment and strengthen your Nightfarer before the next battle.

Choose Your Nightfarer

Take control of uniquely designed heroes known as Nightfarers.

Each character has different strengths, abilities and combat styles. From powerful melee fighters and agile assassins to defensive warriors and magical specialists, choosing the right hero can make a major difference to your team's strategy.

Work together and combine abilities to create effective combat combinations.

Fast-Paced Elden Ring Combat

NIGHTREIGN retains the challenging combat identity associated with FromSoftware while introducing faster movement and traversal.

Players can use abilities such as wall jumping, aerial movement and rapid traversal to navigate Limveld and engage enemies quickly. Fall damage is also removed, allowing greater freedom when moving around the environment.

Explore an Ever-Changing World

Limveld changes between expeditions, meaning you cannot simply rely on the same route every time.

Explore dangerous areas, fight powerful enemies, discover valuable loot and decide how far you want to push your expedition before night falls.

The shifting environment helps make each run feel different.

Defeat Powerful Bosses

At the end of each night, your team must face a powerful boss.

Survive the first two nights and prepare for the ultimate confrontation on the third night, when you face the expedition's Nightlord.

Successful teamwork, character builds and preparation are essential for surviving these encounters.

Relics & Character Progression

Not every expedition will end in victory, but unsuccessful runs still contribute to long-term progression.

Players can obtain Relics that allow them to customize and improve their Nightfarers, giving future expeditions additional strategic options.

This progression system encourages experimentation with different builds and playstyles.

Play Solo or With Friends

Although NIGHTREIGN is designed around three-player co-op, solo play is also supported.

For online multiplayer, PlayStation Plus is required and the game supports up to 3 online players.
